Palate: Medium-bodied with rich fruit, savoury layers and oak spice
Finish: Long, textural and balanced
Style: Elegant, wild-fermented, barrel-aged Chardonnay
Crafted from pristine fruit grown on ancient clay soils, this wine shows the finesse and structure that defines great Moutere Chardonnay. Gentle winemaking, wild fermentation, and careful barrel selection deliver complexity without heaviness."
5 Stars & 95/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, October 2025 (2022 Vintage)
"Complex and enticing, the bouquet reveals apricot, lemon peel, nougat, hazelnut, and almond meal nuances with a hint of flinty overtone. The palate displays excellent weight and silky flow, wonderfully framed by a fleshy texture and vibrant acidity, making it splendidly structured and lingering with delectable flavours. At its best: now to 2030."
Rated Excellent & 94/100 Cameron Douglas MS, October 2025 (2022 Vintage)
"Fabulous bouquet of freshness, ripeness and style with a core bouquet of peach and red apple laced with vanilla and wood spice, a tickle of wood smoke and fine lees complexity. Aged, developed and ready to drink with a satin-cream texture, contrasting acid line and near full-bodied weight. A delicious wine with length and finesse. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029."
