In theory, this rich and buttery Chardonnay produced by the very experienced Ant McKenzie (think Dry River, Spy Valley and Framingham), from carefully selected vineyards in coastal Hawkes Bay, should be very good. And in practice, it is!

"Chardonnay is the world's favourite white wine and the variety has found a natural home in Hawke's Bay. Using exceptional fruit grown in various inland vineyards, this Chardonnay has been crafted in a style the preserves the wonderful fruit purity and enhances a richness and complexity through barrel fermentation and ageing."
