"Indeed a classic wine with a bouquet of youth and variety, fragrances of white rose and lemon, a mineral core with a steely edgy quality, yellow and green apple then a touch of quince. While this wine is labelled as an off-dry expression the acid line is such that the wine begins and mid palate are dry, it is on the finish that the residual sweetness begins to show. Taut and youthful, well made and lengthy, a wine that tastes excellent now and will stand the test of time if cellared properly. Best drinking from 2029 through 2039."

Terrace Edge is a (Chapman) family owned and (whole family) operated organic vineyard and olive grove overlooking the Waipara River from its south bank.
Like so many other Waipara Valley growers, grape types have been matched to growing locations that will bring out the best in its qualities, with the 'healthy-soil-first' ethos framing the whole enterprise.
Besides wine, Terrace Edge also grows olives in groves planted by the Chapmans when they converted their property from a sheep farm.
Visitors can book wine and food experiences at the Terrace Edge Tasting Room and take part in a masterclass of wine and food pairing.
