"Full bodied and rich in flavour, showing characteristics of blackberries, plums and spice with vanilla notes from integrated oak."

92/100 Ray Jordan, WinePilot.com, May 2022 (2020 Vintage)
"Captures so much of what McLaren vale is all about. Lifted notes of florals and dark chocolate with a subtle spicy licorice infusion. There are some decent deep black fruit characters in here merged well with the fine grained oak. A slightly powdery tannin contribution adds to its structure and poise. That oak has a subtle addition of American to the French component and it brings another sweet fruit dimension."
5 Stars & 95/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, June 2021 (2019 Vintage)
"It’s powerful and opulent, yet balanced and harmonious with blackberry, vanillin oak, mixed spice and violet aromas, wonderfully complemented by richly textured mouthfeel and plush tannins. Upfront and delectably long with a velvety finish. At its best: now to 2034."
92/100 Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front, June 2021 (2019 Vintage)
"This is a gutsy, creamy, straight-shooting shiraz. It’s just the ticket for those nights when a good punch of berried flavour is exactly what you crave. Blackberry into plum, clove into violets. There’s a smoothness to the texture but a rippled, robust aspect to the finish. It doesn’t let you down."
