SCHOFFIT HARTH RIESLING TRADITION 2022

A classic 100% Riesling from our favourite Alsace producer. From the 'Harth' vineyard, some of the steepest and most carefully managed slopes in the region, Schoffit brings us a classic or "Tradition" Riesling made in the elegant and dry style. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, with a lovely balance of acidity and fruit. Delicious straight off the shelf, this distinctive wine with its long finish will also benefit from a little time in cellar.

"The 2022 Riesling Lieu-dit Harth is in the centre of the Colmar vineyards. This Riesling comes from the Mittelharth, the core parcel where the soil has slightly more clay in the gravelly, sandy soil. The vines are now between 60 and 70 years old. a very mild, gentle nose is very subdued but comes with a slight creaminess. The palate is delicate, bright, quiet, very slender and fresh – yet completely ripe and mild, with ripest, smoothest lemon, but still subdued. This quiet Riesling slowly goes under your skin, mouthwatering and precise with a touch of saltiness. (Bone-Dry)."
