SAINCHARGNY CRÉMANT de BOURGOGNE EXTATIC BRUT NV

Finding value in French Sparkling wine is almost becoming akin to mission impossible, so when we came across this neatly packaged Méthode Traditionnelle from Burgandy, our interested was piqued. One taste, and well, call us ecstatic! (yes, pun intended).

This is every bit as good as some Champagnes but without the Champagne price tag. Whatever the occasion, we can see this becoming a go to bubbly for many.

"Extatic Brut is an emotional experience for the senses. This wine has a unique style and promises an exhilarating and uncommon sensation of freedom. Created in our heartland, it reveals a rich palette of fruity and spicy notes. Dosage: 10g/l. It reveals notes of exotic fruit and an aromatic palate dominated by fruity and spicy notes. A unique drinking experience, a moment of pure ecstasy."

"Subtly herbal, green notes of lime and green apple on the nose transition to riper berry and cherry on the palate of this blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 20% Gamay. Brut in style and matured 12 months before disgorgement, it's accented by wisps of sugared brioche and an acidic spine. Easy drinking and soft in bubbles, the wine is immediately enjoyable."
