"REW is our family project focused on making soulful wines, grown on a unique site with the help of some truly epic people. From a one hectare, hillside, dry-farmed block in Marlborough, we thoughtfully grow and hand-pick Chardonnay and Pinot Noir creating vibrant and immersive wines. We run the whole operation ourselves (well, with the support of our amazing community of friends) and we’re having a great time in the process.

100% Taylor Pass – Southern Valleys, Clones 115/943/777, dry farmed, planted 2001. Hand harvested 14th of March 2024. An honest expression of this unique spot, with meticulous care taken to showcase the elegance and power of Escaroth."

"Deep ‘glowing’ semi-translucent cherry – ruby red in colour. An inviting nose with aromas of sweet cherry, ripe dark plum, savoury earth & barrel spice notes. On the palate, there’s lots of concentrated fruit flavours, cherry, plum & dark berries, baking spices, silky tannins, a fresh acidity & subtle oak influence all in harmony. Still very young but showing huge potential. Long, dry, full flavoured finish. Excellent."
