Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"Centuries of winemaking tradition endure over time to give rise to wines such as Rectoral do Umia, made with the best selection of Albariño grapes and characterized by its freshness and perfect balance.
Elegant and complex. Intense aroma with fruity and floral notes, highlighting the apple and stone fruits. In the mouth, the typical freshness of Albariño stands out, with a very tight acidity and perfectly balanced with the structure and body of the wine."
Rated Excellent & 93/100 Cameron Douglas MS, February 2026 (2024 Vintage)
"A really good example with a bouquet of sea spray and citrus, white fleshed stone fruits and a fine lee complexity. A dry wine on the palate with an excellent acid line and length, flavours of citrus and white fleshed fruits, peach and orange peel then spice and saline highlights driven along by the acidity. There’s some tension and poise as well as a light complexity delivering some intrigue. Well made, juicy, fleshy and delicious, a wine that will accompany my seafood dinner tonight."
