REBEL RIDGE ZIN20 BLACK EDITION ZINFANDEL 2020

If you love red wines with a bold, supercharged palate of smoothness and satisfaction (and it seems many of you are, as this wine has become one of our best sellers) then the Rebel Ridge Zin20 Black Edition Zinfandel is highly recommended.

Much like the delights of the Primitivos from the South of Italy, here we have California's equivalent (Zinfandel and Primitivo are the same grape variety) and made in a similar style with late harvested, ripe grapes. 

The result is a lustfully delicious Zinfandel full of ripe, rich, bold fruit flavours (think blackberries and strawberries and raisin flavours) with an exotic spiciness.

"Hanging out in the wine bars of Northern California, our winemaker has always hoped to find a Zin as fruity as this. Wanting to put things right, he decided to blend it himself. Using some of the best Zin vineyards, Black Edition is his interpretation and the future of Californian Zin as we see it. Using old vines, harvesting slightly later than normal and taking grape maturation to a new level."
