"Patch Wines is a collaboration between Kirilly Gordon and Matt Talbot, when a patch of vines laden with ripe grapes turned up with no home to go to, it seemed like an excellent idea to turn them into wine. We spend as much time as we can in the vineyard to shoot thin and fruit thin to ensure the best quality we can. We pick most of the grapes with friends to help, we destem and press in a tiny press in the vineyard shed and have small fermenting pots and a Speidel Egg.
24 hours skin contact before basket pressing and racking to stainless steel for a long, slow cool ferment. A delicious glossy textured wine underpinned by lemon zest raciness. Hints of dried oregano with spiced, poached white stone fruits."
We provide a door to door delivery service nationwide. Delivery charges are calculated on a 12 bottle case or part there of.
Delivery charges are calculated during the checkout process based off your address post code. Please ensure you choose the correct post code. We will advise you if you have chosen the incorrect post code.
You may also choose to 'pick up' your order from our wine shop at 188 Durham Street South, Christchurch.
