From the south-east of the Fleurieu Pennisula of South Australia near Currency Creek with the winemaker being the highly esteemed Mike Farmilo; formerly Group Red winemaker for Penfolds/Southcorp, responsible for all Penfolds red wines including Grange and St Henri, Lindeman’s wines, Seppelt, Seaview, Wynns and Leo Buring. In more recent years his focus has been on the McLaren Vale. In short, he knows his stuff and the wine style reminds us of the Seaview Shiraz of years gone by.
The wine is dark – to the sight and taste, with dark fruits, meaty, briny and graphite notes. This is an Old School style of Shiraz, warming the palate and the heart. Excellent value that should find many fans.

5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, October 2023 (2021 Vintage)
"Splendidly ripe and instantly appealing, the wine shows black/blueberry, violet, toasted spice and cedar characters. The palate is equally satisfying, delivering excellent concentration and plush mouthfeel, wonderfully framed by velvety texture and polished tannins. Gorgeously flavoursome and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2033."
