Winery notes (2022 Vintage)
"An elegant nose with aromas of white blossom and honeysuckle. Medium dry to taste, the palate is succulent with the flavours of citrus, peaches, ripe fruit balanced by a limey softness. An excellent aperitif and food wine. A fabulous vintage and an elegant wine."
5 Stars Michael Cooper (2022 Vintage)
"From a ‘simply fantastic’ season, according to Mondillo, the 2022 vintage is drinking well from the start. Estate-grown at Bendigo, it is a highly scented, beautifully poised wine, with deep, peachy, limey, slightly spicy flavours and a dryish (11 grams/litre of residual sugar), appetisingly crisp finish. Vibrantly fruity, with lots of youthful vigour, it should be at its best 2025+."
Rated Excellent & 94/100 Cameron Douglas MS, February 2023 (2022 Vintage)
"Fantastic bouquet with fragrances of sweet meyer lemon, green pears, mandarin and lime-flower, white blossoms and silica stone minerals. Dry with just a light tickle of sweetness then contrasting acidity and fruit flavours that mirror the bouquet, also a crisp red apple flesh and apricot stone flavours. Floral and fruity, salivating and lengthy, a delicious example perfect as an aperitif or with naturally sweet shell fish like clams. Best from 2023 through 2033+."
5 Stars & 95/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, March 2023 (2022 Vintage)
"Exquisitely fine and poised, the wine shows lemon sorbet, crunchy apple and white floral nuances, followed by a brilliantly focused palate delivering pristine fruit flavours with whispering sweetness backed by steely acidity, finishing wonderfully long and engaging. Style: Off-dry. At its best: 2025 to 2037."
