A welcome back for this Southern Italian label, popular with us a few years ago. Negroamaro is an ancient variety associated with the Salento region of Puglia for over 1500 years. It produces wines that are very deep in colour and tend to be rustic in character, combining perfume with an earthy bitterness, along with dark fruits and spice.
This example combines all those typical characters but with a fantastic drinkability factor that just makes this such a showstopper for the price.
Menhir are a relatively new winery producing modern, juicy wines whilst respecting the history of the region. They have also established a restaurant and food centre celebrating the local cuisine – reports are it is excellent if you ever get to visit this region.
We provide a door to door delivery service nationwide. Delivery charges are calculated on a 12 bottle case or part there of.
Delivery charges are calculated during the checkout process based off your address post code. Please ensure you choose the correct post code. We will advise you if you have chosen the incorrect post code.
You may also choose to 'pick up' your order from our wine shop at 188 Durham Street South, Christchurch.
