A welcome back for this Southern Italian label, popular with us a few years ago. Negroamaro is an ancient variety associated with the Salento region of Puglia for over 1500 years, Menhir are a relatively new winery producing modern, juicy wines whilst respecting the history of the region. They have also established a restaurant and food centre celebrating the local cuisine – reports are it is excellent if you ever get to visit this region.
The wine is dark, inky coloured with dark spiced fruits – plum especially and hints of dried herb and plenty of weight. Definitely Mediterranean tasting with warm flavours and hints of saline savouriness.
We provide a door to door delivery service nationwide. Delivery charges are calculated on a 12 bottle case or part there of.
Delivery charges are calculated during the checkout process based off your address post code. Please ensure you choose the correct post code. We will advise you if you have chosen the incorrect post code.
You may also choose to 'pick up' your order from our wine shop at 188 Durham Street South, Christchurch.

Note, for orders of 1 - 2 bottles we charge an additional $6 for packaging. To ensure the safety of the bottles we use specially designed posting boxes.
