"Distinctive, complex and varietal bouquet of both Pinot Noir and Central Otago, scents of savoury spiced dark plums and dark cherry flesh, dark soils of stones and toasty French oak barrel spices led by powdered vanilla and clove. Youthful and demanding bouquet overall. On the palate an equally expressive wine, dry, firm youthful texture from tannins and a back bone of acidity, fruit and wood flavours are persistent along with a natural savoury dried herb quality. Well made, taut and youthful with best drinking from late 2024 through 2030+."
