Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"Aromas of sweet Jasmine, coupled with lychee and honeysuckle notes. Clean fruit-driven style, rich and full with lychee, Turkish delight, spice and ginger notes. A broad wine that persists well. Drinking well now but will reward with cellaring for 4-5 years.
Picked by machine in the early morning the grapes are transported to the winery without preservative as the berries are small with this variety are small and a little phenolic, Again the decision to pick was left to the winemaker. The juice on arrival is floated and fermented with M2 an aromatic yeast. As per usual the wine stopped fermentation at about 7 g/L of residual sugar and was racked and sulphured, stabilised then filtered and bottled."
Rated Excellent & 93/100 Cameron Douglas MS, June 2024 (2024 Vintage)
"A delicious wine filled with scents and flavours of flowers and tropical fruits, apple strudel and fresh white peach. The natural spice payer and gentle sweet herb qualities add complexity and impact. Just dry as the wine touches the palate with flavours that mirror the bouquet. Medium+ acid line, satin textures and a lengthy finish. A wine for myriad cuisines, balanced, well made and ready. Best drinking from 2024 through 2028."
5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, June 2024 (2024 Vintage)
"It's finely scented on the nose, showing pineapple, mango, rich floral and subtle spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate offering beautifully rounded mouthfeel combined with fleshy texture and juicy acidity, making it delicious and highly appealing. At its best: now to 2032."
