Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"It has a playful pink gloss, with penetrating aromas of watermelon, kumquat, strawberry and pear drops, meshed with floral notes reminiscent of citrus blossom, frangipani and peony. The mouthfeel is lively and energised, showcasing impressive palate weight and well assimilated acidity that adds length and concentration. The complementary varieties ensure the wine remains fleshy and supple, while also adding aroma and structure."
5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, November 2024 (2024 Vintage)
"It's fabulously expressed on the nose, showing wild strawberry, watermelon, lemon peel and floral aromas. The palate delivers juicy fruit intensity with fine texture and crisp acidity, making it instantly appealing. At its best: now to 2026."
92/100 Cameron Douglas MS, November 2024 (2024 Vintage)
"Bright, fresh, youthful, fruity and vibrant with a bouquet of red cherries and dark strawberry, a touch of red apple skin and black currant leads aroma package. Equally vibrant and fruit on the palate with contrasting fine tannins and acidity framing the palate nicely. Fresh and new with best drinking from day of purchase through end of summer 2026."
Joelle Thomson, drinksbiz Magazine, December 2024 (2024 Vintage)
"A mystery blend of grape varieties brings a medium pink tinge to this zesty young Rosé from North Canterbury. Flavours of lemon zest, a hint of blackberry and dried strawberries combine in this light-bodied, youthful, summery wine."
18+/20 (91) Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, December 2024 (2024 Vintage)
"Bright, even, pale salmon pink. The nose is voluminous, packed with aromas of raspberry, strawberry, white floral and a touch of spice. Medium-bodied, aromas of raspberry and strawberry entwined with watermelon, frangipani and black pepper. The wine has good intensity and weight; a touch of sweetness provides flesh to the palate. Juicy acidity lends a refreshing. An appealing Rosé with generous fruit and balance. Serve as an aperitif or match with salamis over the next 2-3 years. Made from a blend of varieties, the free-run juice was given a small amount of skin contact and fermented in stainless steel to 12.5% alc."
