The 2023 release of Main Divide Rosé from the Donaldson Family will get you excited, it certainly did it for us. Full of energy, bursting with flavour and delivered on a beautifully textured palate with drive and tension.
Winery notes (2023 Vintage)
"Upon release the colour is bright coral. Its nose is soft, fragrant and full, packed with aromas of citrus, strawberry, pear drops and pomegranate, with snippets of rose petal and daphne. In the mouth it is zesty, dry, and finely textured, with a vibrant line of acid that dances across the palate, leading to a sustained and quenching finish. The complementary varieties ensure the wine remains fleshy and supple, while also adding aroma and structure."
92/100 Cameron Douglas MS, October 2023 (2023 Vintage)
"Aromas of peaches and red apples, some apricot and hibiscus flowers. A layer of honeysuckle and delicate white spice with a lees touch adds complexity and charm. Crisp and dry on the palate with plenty of texture from acidity and fine tannins adding a light chalky mouthfeel. Core flavours reflect the bouquet with a refreshing salivating quality. Well made with a dry finish and offering best drinking from 2023 through end of summer 2025."

5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, November 2022 (2022 Vintage)
"Bright and fresh, the inviting bouquet shows crunchy apple, sweet strawberry and lemon zest aromas with a hint of flinty overtone. The focused palate displays linear mouthfeel combined with juicy acidity, offering fabulous drinking. At its best: now to 2024."
4 Stars Michael Cooper (2022 Vintage)
"The 2022 vintage is from a 'unique assemblage of varieties' – past releases have included Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Pale pink, it is fresh and crisp, with vigorous peach, spice and watermelon flavours, and a fully dry (0.7 grams/litre of residual sugar), lengthy finish. Best drinking mid-2023+."
4 Stars & 18/20 (90) Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, November 2022 (2022 Vintage)
"Bright, pale salmon, even colour throughout. The nose is gently full and fresh, with aromas of strawberries and red berries melded with minerals and a hint of floral. Medium-light bodied, dry to taste, aromas of strawberries and red berries interweave grapefruit, blossom and crunchy minerals. The wine is vibrant with an excellent acid backbone, flows with focus and has a chalky texture with a crisp, dry finish. This crisp Rosé is lively and fresh with mouthwatering acidity and a dry finish. Serve as an aperitif or match with prawn cocktail over the next 2-3 years. A blend of varieties, fermented cool in stainless steel to 13% alc, 0.7g/l RS."
