Winery notes (2021 Vintage)
"Made from Syrah Chapoutier's red Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers comes from vines which are more than 25 years old. Chapoutier's Crozes-Hermitage vines are grown on gentle slopes facing south. The soil is made up of a mixture of clays, pebbles and gravels.
Red fruit and blackcurrant dominate the nose, followed by aromas of violet. A generous and round tasting wine with a finish of stewed fruits and a hint of vanilla."

93/100 Wine Spectator (2020 Vintage)
"Boasts beautifully pure fruit, with black and red berry flavours layered with sweet licorice, giving way to warm earth and wet stone. Reveals white pepper, olive tapenade, dried thyme and sanguine undertones, which build toward the persistent finish."
92/100 Jeb Dunnuck (2019 Vintage)
"I loved the 2019 Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers. This classy, spicy, already complex Crozes reveals a medium ruby/purple hue as well as textbook Northern Rhône notes of spiced red and black fruits, ground pepper, bouquet garni, and a touch of floral-like nuances. Medium-bodied, lightly textured, and elegant, it has plenty of classic 2019 fruit yet stays balanced and just a joy to drink."
91/100 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2019 Vintage)
"An exceptional vintage for this wine, the 2019 Crozes Hermitage les Meysonniers showcases violets, cassis and crushed stone aromas on its complex, nuanced nose. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it's silky and seductive, with a long, exquisitely balanced finish. Best after 2022."
