Pitch perfect fruit owing to the outstanding 2021 vintage in Hawkes Bay soaks up the judicial use of spicy oak, leading to a silky palate full of dark berries, vanilla and just a hint of pepper. Jump on this with gusto!

"A fantastic example of Hawkes Bay Syrah with a floral nose of iris and lavender with fresh juicy red summer berries and well-integrated oak, giving aromas of vanilla and smoke. A well-balanced palate with Black Doris plum and fig. Tannins are spicy giving great length and structure."

"Fleshy dark fruited bouquet led by baked raspberry and boysenberry, then a smoky toasty wood quality with French oak baking spice suggestions. Medium+ weight, taut and dry wine touches the palate, flavours of dark berries and clove, black currant and vanilla, wood smoke and dry stone earthy highlights. Polished tannins and medium+ acid line frame the fruit perfectly. A ready to drink expression with cellar time ahead if preferred. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2028+."
