Leefield Station are on a winning run with their wines and this Rosé is another great example of why we think they are producing some of the best value wines in the land.
An absolutely delicious example packed full of red berry fruits (raspberry, strawberry and cherry) all enveloped in a beautiful mineral laden finish. Yum!
Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"Leefield Station has a mission of showcasing the best of Marlborough in one amazing property. Delicious grapes, well-kept sheep, cattle, and pigs – all alongside flourishing native bush sheltering productive beehives and teeming flora and fauna. It is nature co-existing perfectly – helping each other, in an amazing eco-system of its own. Because we believe this is what modern farming looks like.
Demonstrating pure and delicate floral aromas with hints of wild berries and cream. The palate is elegant and intense, characterised by red fruit purity and a touch of minerality with a crunchy, dry finish."
Rated Excellent & 93/100 Cameron Douglas MS, September 2024 (2024 Vintage)
"A polished pink and ruby hued appearance leads to a bouquet and palate of fresh raspberry and plum, a lick of red cherry and strawberry jam and salivating mouthfeel. Superfine fruit tannins and a backbone of acidity assure and crunchy and refreshing delivery of ripe fruits and texture. Balanced and well made with best drinking from 2024 through end of summer 2026."
