4 Stars Cuisine Pinot Noir Tasting, April 2022 (2020 Vintage)
"A cooler style of pinot noir, well executed. Youthful and lively on the nose with raspberries and spice and just a hint of oak toast. The palate is very nicely textured with lovely fruit concentration and good balance which leads to a juicy, long, refreshing finish."
Reviews for the 2019 vintage below…
4 ½ Stars Michael Cooper (2019 Vintage)
"Unexpectedly rich for a sub-$30 Pinot Noir, this ageworthy red was grown at three sites in the Southern Valleys and matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (5 per cent new). Deep ruby, it is mouthfilling, savoury and well-structured, with concentrated, ripe cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours, showing good complexity, and moderately firm tannins. Drinking well now, it should break into full stride mid-2023+. Fine value."
