4 ½ Stars & Top 10 Cuisine Champagne Tasting, October 2021 (NV)
"Bright citrus and lime-blossom aromas please on the nose and flow through to the palate interwoven with yellow and green characters playing in perfect harmony. A Champagne with a taut acid structure and pert pithiness that works in balance. The quality represents fantastic value at this price point."
93/100 Mike Bennie, The Wine Front, December 2016 (NV)
"Disgorged September of 2015, thanks for the info on back label, good folk of Lanson. Lively, fresh scents, tripping the light between citrus fruit, talc, frangipani floral characters, faint nougat and vanilla. The palate has richness and depth, a curious, slightly burned butter character, light toffee and caramel notes, green apple crunchy acidity. The bottle isn’t probably as vibrant as I would like, but the depth of flavour and fine, persistent bead says ‘I’m doing good’. It’s a Champagne of complexity and decent energy, with lavish flavours to let you know you’re into something fancy."
