La Vieille Ferme is a hugely successful French wine brand produced by the Famille Perrin (of Château de Beaucastel fame). This beautifully bright rosé is fresh and aromatic with a delicate bouquet and plenty of red and citrus fruit flavours.
Winery notes (2023 Vintage)
"Elegant limpid colour of a subtle pale peach, with shiny reflections. Very fresh and fruity, the nose is particularly attractive with notes of red fruit and juicy summer fruit, bursting with sunshine. The palate is both greedy and full of vivacity with its tasty aromas of red fruit, perfectly balanced by a beautiful freshness. The aromas linger on with a delicate savoury finish.
Located largely in the regional park of the Luberon, on equal distance from Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Manosque. The average altitude of the vineyard is at 300 meters."
Elizabeth Gabay MW, Decanter UK, March 2024 (2023 Vintage)
"A rosé with all the freshness of grapes sourced at 300m altitude in the Luberon and Ventoux. The original rosé in the Perrin range, this wine was made to represent Rhône rosé and shows real left-bank typicity, with longer finesse compared to the boldness and structure of the right bank. Back in the 1970s the colour was darker, but today the wine has a classic pale peach-pink hue with pretty red fruit aromas. On the palate there is zesty yellow citrus and pink grapefruit acidity, and it’s saline, pithy and crunchy with some fine minerality, elegant red fruit and structure."

4 ½ Stars & Top 10 Cuisine Rosé Tasting, December 2023 (2022 Vintage)
"This wine has the palest onion-skin colour with a very light-copper tinge. The nose is both fragrant yet subtle and delicate with aromas of savoury herbs, some stonefruit and citrus zest. It’s refreshing and clean with a nice textural mouthfeel and a dry finish."
