"Released in September 2025 the Johanneshof Gewürztraminer 2025 displays a straw colour. The floral bouquet of rose petals and violets is underpinned with aromas of white stone fruit. Extremely powerful on the nose and palate, it features a weighty mouth feel and stunning tropical fruit characters. Nuances of peaches and mangos grace the palate with gorgeously floral tones of roses and Turkish delight.

Beautifully textured and well balanced with some natural sweetness. This unctuous wine seduces with its elegance and power. It’s well deserving of its name – this German variety ‘Gewürztraminer’ translates to ‘Spicy Traminer”- its spicyness most notable in its smooth, lingering finish."

"Aromatic, intensely floral and fruity with a spice-laden bouquet of quince and pear, exotic tropical fruits and apple, there’s a definitive ginger seam and mineral clay earth foundation. Off-dry and fruity, payers of spice and mineral, a gentle flow of sweetness is contrasted by a medium acid line. Persistent flavours, a silky mouthfeel and lengthy finish. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030."
