"The Johanneshof Gewürztraminer 2022 delights with its golden colour and stunning aromatic bouquet of flowers with subtle exotic spice and a hint of sandalwood on the nose. Richly floral aromas greet your senses on the first sip with gentle kisses of rosewater, ginger and honeysuckle. Beautifully textured and well balanced, seducing with a touch of sweetness. This wine is powerful and elegant, with an lengthy finish."

"This beauty consistently ranks among the country's greatest Gewürztraminers. Hand-harvested in the Wairau Valley, the bright yellow/green 2022 vintage is a powerful wine with a perfumed, spicy, vaguely honeyed bouquet. Rich and smooth, it has deep stonefruit and spice flavours, a hint of honey, a gentle splash of sweetness (9.7 grams/litre of residual sugar) and finely balanced acidity. Already delicious, it should be at its best 2024+."
