A superb Chablis from boutique leaders in the region, Jean Paul and Benoit Droin. The history of the family Droin (pronounced like "du-wah") goes back a long way. Benoit is the 14th generation, though with a magic touch that has made him a leader in the region. Grown on the proper sea-shell soils which make the style famous, this village white conveys beautiful citrus and florals infused with a harmonious minerality.

"The 2023 Chablis Village offers pretty orchard fruit on the nose with a touch of chalk dust. The palate is well balanced with more tension than the Petit Chablis. A touch of sour lemon and green apple on the finish. Fine."
