Sometimes we come across a wine that is different and unexpectedly good. This local wine produced by Julian Ball is maybe the best example of New Zealand Grüner Veltliner that we have tried.
Winery notes (2020 Vintage)
"Grüner Veltliner 2020 has aromas of honey, beeswax and grapefruit with a hint of pineapple. The palate is crisp and juicy with citrus and floral flavours. The fruit was hand picked, pressed in a basket press then the juice was fermented by wild yeast in old oak barrels until dry. The wine will age gracefully. This wine lends itself to accompanying many food types like seafood, stir fry, cheese courses and Thai and Indian curry."
We provide a door to door delivery service nationwide. Delivery charges are calculated on a 12 bottle case or part there of.

You may also choose to 'pick up' your order from our wine shop at 188 Durham Street South, Christchurch.

Note, for orders of 1 - 2 bottles we charge an additional $6 for packaging. To ensure the safety of the bottles we use specially designed posting boxes.
