Gravner Ribolla 2015 is a full-bodied orange wine produced from Ribolla Gialla grapes in the Venezia Giulia region of Italy. Fermented with skins in underground Georgian qvevris with indigenous yeasts, the wine was matured for five months in qvevris off its skins before being racked to large oak barrels, where it matured for six years. This is a profound orange wine from the visionary winemaker Josko Gravner, possessing intense flavours of dried fruit, resin, dried flowers, aromatic herbs and nuts.

"Gravner’s legendary wine – the most sought-after skin-contact wine of Italy – is released seven years after the vintage. It's the result of the scrupulous, unconventional work of Josko, from the vineyard to the cellar, that makes the 2015 vintage a deep, golden wine with amber hue. Its intriguing nose is rich in aromatic components like dried apricot, orange peel and resin notes. Mouthfilling with great texture and delicate tannins, it shows lovely acidity with a sapid, mineral finish."
94/100 Monica Larner, RobertParker.com, Wine Advocate, August 2024 (2015 Vintage)
"Showing the beautiful orange colour that is a distinctive calling card, the Gravner 2015 Ribolla offers dry and macerated aromas in which the primary fruit plays a background role. Instead, you get canned apricot, plum brandy and dusty clay soil. This elegant Ribolla offers an especially wide and determined mouthfeel in this warm and sunny vintage. If you are a Gravner enthusiast, you'll love the texture and richness of this age-worthy wine. It should be fascinating to see how this wine evolves with bottle age."
93/100 Vinous (2015 Vintage)
"The 2015 Ribolla Gialla Anfora is sweetly alluring, with a complex and heady blend of orange blossoms, raw honey, mint leaf, earl grey, dried apricots and peaches. It smooths over the palate with oily textures, lifted by a core of nervous acidity. Tart orchard fruits swirl throughout and are complicated by a mouthwatering twist of tangerine. The 2015 lingers impossibly long, spicy and wickedly fresh, mixing candied ginger with lemon sorbet, hints of butterscotch and exotic inner florals. The 2015 is a rich wine of contrasts and tension."
