5 Stars, Best Buy & Number 2, Cuisine Australian Shiraz Tasting 2019
Barossa Ink came about as a challenge set down by the Grant Burge winemaking team to come up with the most vibrant and impactful wines as possible. The result is an intensely opulent wine from the heart of the Barossa, with a colour so dark, it’s almost ink.
5 Stars, Best Buy & No.2 Shiraz, Cuisine Shiraz Tasting, June 2019 (2017 Vintage)
"Beautifully composed and simply delicious. Ripe, toasty and spicy in all of the right proportions. The wonderfully concentrated mid-palate is very seductive and balanced with fine acidity and long silky tannins."

5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, September 2017 (2016 Vintage)
"A gorgeous shiraz offering fruit power and opulence; the inviting bouquet shows black/blueberry, dark plum, vanilla, mocha and toasted nut aromas. The palate is fleshy and sumptuous, and exhibits layers of velvety texture and plush mouthfeel, finishing superbly long and captivating. At its best: now to 2026."
91/100 Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review, October 2017 (2016 Vintage)
"The wine lives up to its brand with an ink-like hue and syrupy intensity. A classic and traditional Barossa style with masses of plum, dark berry, liquorice and chocolate/mocha flavours. High alcohol, ripe fruit and American oak give the wine an almost luscious sweetness that could cloy after a few glasses. A real 'crowd pleaser' offering value at this price."
