"Dark red/purple colour, still quite closed on the nose, exhibiting some deep, dark fruit aromas, which slowly give way to finer, more floral features, indicating a wine that will greatly benefit from a few more years of bottle aging. The same appears on the palate, at first rather austere and unyielding, but as the wine opens up in the glass it reveals genuine cool-climate qualities, intense flavour concentration without being heavy, combining masculine power with an underlying elegance that will blossom over time."

"A lovely bouquet with a concentration of dark berries and black currant, layers of black olive and sweet licorice root along with fine barrel spice delivery a core complexity. Firm-ish and dry as the wine touches the palate, contrasting core of black currant and dark berry fruits flavours along with youthful yet polished tannins and a backbone of acidity deliver a wine of completeness, complexity and power. Layers of dried herb, licorice and barrel spices show a wine with breadth, depth and style. Best drinking from 2025 through 2033+."
