Winery notes (2021 Vintage)
"This is the latest release of our estate pinot noir and was made from mainly 18 year old vines (Clones 5, 6, Abel, 667, 115, 777). Bright ruby appearance, and a bouquet filled with scents of place then ripe red berry fruits and dark cherry. Soft notes of toasted cedar display the 11 months of barrel ageing. On the palate, a core of deep dark fruits is balanced with hints of fresh late summer berries. The intimate touch of winemaking is evident in the light vanilla oak notes, subtle body and the unassuming but long finish. Drinking well now but will develop in the cellar for 10 plus years."

Rated Outstanding & 96/100 Cameron Douglas MS, September 2024 (2021 Vintage)
"A bouquet filled with scents of place first then ripe red berry fruits of dark cherry and cherry skin; tart raspberries then plum. A seam of mineral earth offers scents of clay and stones then spices of barrel. Firm & ripe tannins with a higher acidity frame and fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. Lengthy, taut and complex. A wine best enjoyed from 2028 through 2038+. A wine that will need some cellar time to show it true style and age worthy qualities."

5 Stars & 95/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, September 2024 (2021 Vintage)
"It's gorgeously ripe and enticing, the wine shows Black Doris plum, wild strawberry, rich floral, warm spice and toasted almond characters, followed by a wonderfully weighted palate displaying fleshy texture combined with beautifully melded tannins, finishing persistent and delectable. At its best: now to 2033."

94/100 Emma Jenkins MW, Decanter, August 2024 (2021 Vintage)
"A rich and fragrant wine, with lots of red fruit and cinnamon spice, a touch of bacon fat and earth. The palate is earthy with red/black fruits, dark chocolate and spice, juicy acidity and polished tannins, plus some fine French oak on the finish. Good concentration and length; this is a bolder style made with finesse and harmony. The savoury, mellow cellar release 2014 vintage suggests good things to come for this wine too. The Kerruish family live on their vineyard, named for the evocative weathered mountain range that sits behind their tiny organically farmed Bendigo Vineyard, planted in 2003."
