From the 'home' of Rosé, this is a great example of the fresh, dry fruits and mineral salts style we are all getting to love so much. A beautiful salmon colour with fresh aromas of peaches and pears and a hint of strawberry. It tastes as beautiful as it looks.
Winery notes (2023 Vintage)
"An expressive, harmonious Rosé wine and great ambassador for the Coteaux Varois en Provence. Saint Louis de Provence is pale in appearance with shades of pink. The fresh fruit and citrus aromas refresh the palate, with harmony and elegance on the finish.
Saint Louis de Provence invites you to discover the terroir of the "Provence Verte" (Green Provence), where terraces of olive trees line the vineyards and the rivers flow quietly by, where the rosé reveals itself in many reflections.
The terroir of the Coteaux-Varois-en-Provence AOC is characterized by a rugged landscape where parcels of vines grow between 200 and 500 metres altitude. Due to the alternation of hot weather during the day and cool temperatures at night, the grapes ripen steadily and evenly, developing aromatic complexity."
5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, June 2024 (2023 Vintage)
"Delicate and enticing, the bouquet shows red apple, apricot and almond meal nuances with a hint of wild strawberry. The palate displays focused mouthfeel and refined texture, splendidly framed by lively acidity, finishing long and elegant. At its best: now to 2026."
