Winery notes (2023 Vintage)
"Brilliant pale pink in the glass. Aromas are delicate with light red fruit and Spring blossom notes. The light bodied palate is pleasantly fresh and crisp in the style of a classical Provencal rose with delicate red fruit notes and a subtle minerality and a clean dry finish.
Estandon has been expressing the personality of the Côtes de Provence A.O.C. wines with talent since 1947. Vintage after vintage, it remains the reference, synonymous with quality and relaxed enjoyment.
Legend has it that Phoenician ships, carried on a steady sea breeze (“brise marine"), landed on the Mediterranean coast in the 6th century BC. They brought with them the knowledge of vine growing and winemaking. To celebrate the legend, the Estandon winemakers have created this "Brise Marine" vin de pays and invite you to taste the fruit of their region’s history.
Provence Region. Shallow, schist and silty soils. Foothills of the Massif des Maures on sunny hillside slopes."

"It’s delicately aromatic on the nose with Gala apple, strawberry, floral and lemon peel notes, leading to a brightly expressed palate offering juicy fruit flavours with zesty acidity. Mouth-watering and delightfully appealing. At its best: now to 2026."
92/100 Ken Garret, WinePilot.com, June 2024 (2023 Vintage)
"The grapes here, a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, hail from the foothills of the Massif des Maures, in the Provence region. I am assured that ‘brise maritime’ means sea breeze, which seems apt. An orange pink hue to this wine. Lovely fragrances with notes of strawberries and cream to the fore and red berries throughout. A juicy style with a good flick of acidity, nicely balanced and excellent length, there is lots to like here. Now for six years, this is good value."
