Winery notes (2025 Vintage)
"The 2025 growing season in Martinborough was cool yet dry, providing ideal conditions for producing wines of both intensity and purity. The consistently cool nights helped to preserve natural acidity, resulting in wines that are vibrant and fresh, with exceptional clarity and a distinctive mineral edge.

Pinot Blanc is a rare variety that is known for its spicy subtle flavours and its remarkable ability to express terroir. The grapes were whole-bunch pressed, with the juice settled overnight before fermentation in seasoned French puncheons. The wine was then aged for four months on lees to build texture and complexity before bottling. The resulting wine is a soft, dry style with delicate aromatics and immediate appeal. While beautifully expressive upon release, it will continue to develop further with careful cellaring for up to five years.

Extremely fragrant on the nose, this wine bursts with aromas of lemon verbena, white peach, and fresh orchard fruits. A subtle savoury undertone – characteristic of the variety – adds depth and complexity. The palate is bright and poised, showing soft acidity and flavours of nectarine and yuzu supported by a fine mineral backbone. Extended time in barrel contributes texture and a rounded mouthfeel, bringing harmony to the wine’s vibrant profile. Perfect as an aperitif or served alongside white fish and other lighter dishes."
