Winery notes (2023 Vintage)
"Complex citrus fruit, hazelnut meal, crème caramel and sweet oak vanillin on the nose. The palate is full-bodied, with nectarine, honeydew melon, fine oak and a long ripe citrus finish.

4 Stars Michael Cooper (2020 Vintage)
"Offering very good value, the bright, light lemon/green 2020 vintage is a regional blend, grown in the Awatere Valley (66 per cent) and Wairau Valley (34 per cent). Hand-harvested and barrel-fermented, it is fragrant and full-bodied, with citrusy, peachy flavours, some creamy and biscuity notes, and very good depth. Enjoyable young. (From Astrolabe)."
92/100 Cameron Douglas MS, May 2021 (2020 Vintage)
"White peach and apple, vanilla and soft raw cashew nut, mild sweet oak scents and a fresh fruity drive. Soft and silty on the palate with flavours of peaches and tree fruits, a touch of grapefruit and pith then mild flavours of oak, nut and baking spice. Very fine wood tannins and crisp acidity. A balanced and well made wine for any occasion. Best drinking from 2021 through 2023."
