Winery notes (2019 Vintage)
"Hand-picked grapes were whole-bunch pressed and left to undergo spontaneous fermentation in a stainless steel tank. Medium-dry riesling with lime, white flowers and a suggestion of oyster shell. There’s a perfect blend of sweetness with fruity acidity which gives the wine tension. Deliciously accessible now, but no rush."

"Fantastic bouquet of mandarin and lime flower, citrus and fresh rose apple scents. A distinctive lees and floral quality add depth and enticement. An off-dry wine touches the palate first with a lime and apple flavours hit. Next, flavours of mineral and a sift white spice quality show then a return to the mandarin and lime flower ideas. Delicious with a silky-cream texture, a contrasting backbone of acidity. Lengthy and well made with best drinking from 2025 through 2035."

"Bright, even, light yellow with some depth and a golden-green hue. The bouquet is gently perfumed with fragrances of orange blossom, orange peels, apricot, red apple entwined with honey and delicate spices. Medium-dry, the palate is soft and rich with flavours of toffee apple, orange caramel, apricot, mandarin, along with florals, mead and candied orange peels. Acidity is smooth and seamless, balanced the sugar sweetness effortlessly. There is an attractive rich tone of toffee apple, and caramel element broadens the mouthfeel and adds interest. The mouthfeel is elegant and delicate with a powdery phenolic texture line. This is a medium-dry Riesling with a perfect balance of sugar-acid and freshness; on a soft yet rich flavoured palate and a powdery texture line, full of delicious interests. Match this with crème caramel and chicken with chestnut over the next 6-8 years. Biodynamic farming. BioGro organic certified. Fermented in stainless steel to 11.7% alc, 24 g/l RS."
