Winery notes (2019 Vintage)
"Moderately deep ruby-black, lighter on the rim. This has a savoury bouquet penetrating aromas of autumn leaves, forest floor, herbs, spice, and underlying dark fruit. Medium-full bodied, dark cherry and blackberry aromas entwined with dark minerals, liquorice, autumn leaves, nutmeg and thyme. The palate is dry and rich with dark-toned, savoury details, reflecting minerals and a ripe yet firm tannin grip. This youthful, broody Pinot Noir shows dark fruit, minerals and a firm mouthfeel."

Medium-bodied, red berries, black cherries enriched by earthy nuances, dark herbs, and a savoury closure with black pepper and cinnamon. The fruit's dense concentration reflects the earthy tones and broadens the palate. The mouthfeel is smooth with a grainy-textured tannin grip. This is an earthy Pinot Noir with concentrated fruit, herbs and a smooth-grainy textured palate. Match with venison and lamb stew over the next 8 years.
