The Lafond family has along history in the Southern Rhone Valley that dates all the way back to 1780. Lafond family created Domaine Lafond in Roc-Epine in 1970. Lirac is on the western side of the Rhone river (opposite Chateauneuf du Pape).
A family business for several generations in the southern part of the Rhône valley, it spans 80 hectares that are certified organic in appellations Tavel, Lirac, Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf du Pape.
The Lirac Roc-Epine is classic stuff, with ripe red and black fruit as well as some peppery garrigue and Provençal spice notes. It's medium to full-bodied, mouth-filling, ripe, and textured. Based on 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah that was destemmed and brought up all in tank.
We provide a door to door delivery service nationwide. Delivery charges are calculated on a 12 bottle case or part there of.
Delivery charges are calculated during the checkout process based off your address post code. Please ensure you choose the correct post code. We will advise you if you have chosen the incorrect post code.
You may also choose to 'pick up' your order from our wine shop at 188 Durham Street South, Christchurch.

Note, for orders of 1 - 2 bottles we charge an additional $6 for packaging. To ensure the safety of the bottles we use specially designed posting boxes.
