"CChanson is one of the major owners of Clos des Mouches with a vineyard of 4.5 hectares. Ideal location on the hill at the southern end of the vineyards of Beaune on a spur pointing toward Pommard. A plot of 2.5 hectares is planted with Pinot Noir on a limestone subsoil covered with clay.

Bright ruby colour. Floral fragrances (roses) mixed with intense aromas of red berries (strawberry, cherry, redcurrant) and pepper on a delicate oak note. Complex and well-balanced with an outstanding energy. Tight and deep texture. Elegant tannins and well crafted oak. Long and refined finish with spicy notes."

"The 2022 Clos des Mouches red from Chanson surprises with its lush black cherry fruit and aromas of rose petal, earth and spice. The texture is fleshy and dense, with an elegance and finesse that set the standard for this house. There is much more sweetness to the fruit than there was last year. The grapes are from two hectares of the Clos des Mouches planted in the 1960s and 1970s. The grapes are fermented with less whole cluster than is typical at Chanson (50 – 60%)."
