Winery notes (2026 Vintage)
"From our Te Hau Matapiro vineyard comes a wine that captures the site in the glass. Lifted aromas of ripe pear, nashi and red apple skin are complemented by hints of ginger and spice. Flavours of nectarine and citrus are balanced by refreshing acidity, while gentle floral notes and a touch of minerality add complexity. Medium-bodied and off dry with a silky texture and long, persistent finish.
90% Racked to tank for fermentation between 16 and 18 deg C. 10% transferred to older French Puncheons and barriques for barrel fermentation at 22-24 deg C. Blended post ferment and aged on light lees for 4 months."
