Winery notes (2022 Vintage)
'Sophia' is made from select parcels of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the heart of our Gimblett Gravels Vineyard in Hawke's Bay. These parcels are farmed and vinified separately before selection and assemblage of the very best barriques for this prestige cuvee. 'Sophia' is a true expression of this great vineyard and the vintage. It is rich yet refined, very long flavoured and beautifully crafted.
Will reward cellaring for a least a decade from vintage.
