"Elegant, delicate florals, raspberry and dark black fruits. Intertwined with lovely leafy, tobacco and aniseed notes. Velvety, layered, generous and complex with delicate fine grained tannins.

2020 was warm, long and dry with cool nights resulting in wines of real depth, richness, character and excellent cellaring potential. Hand picked and destemmed with 100% whole berries. Cold soaked for 4-5 days and fermented in small open top fermenters. 24 months in new (30%) and old French oak barrels. Unfined and unfiltered."

"Dark berries and olive leaf, dried herbs and black berries. There’s a smoky aspect with barrel spices of clove and baked vanilla. Complex and youthful. Taut and tightly wound on the palate, the core darker red berry fruits show that as this wine settles and ages it will hold onto the power of the fruit and use the abundant chalky textured tannins, acidity and barrel flavours to develop complexities. A wine that will age well. Best drinking from 2025 through 2035."
