"Our new Estate Range replaces the Petit Clos – showing vivacity, concentration and brightness, the Estate wines are crafted from both our glacial stones and windblown clay terroirs. Combining the best nuances of Marlborough and our Sancerre heritage, this organic Sauvignon Blanc is our flagship wine from the Clos Henri estate in Blenheim.
Bright and inviting, the 2024 Estate Sauvignon Blanc has notes of ripe citrus, orange blossom and white peach. Juicy, with rich ripe stone fruits, the palate offers a refreshing acidity with satisfying weight and length. A wine showing excellent purity of place, there is a lingering mineral finish."

"The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is ripe and concentrated on the nose, with persimmon and tangelo, lemon rind and green apple. In the mouth, the wine is possessed of an array of flavours, from salted nuts, almond meal, vanilla pod and caper brine right through to a cavalcade of citrus fruits and a suggestion of coriander/cilantro. This is eminently sophisticated, yet it delivers the Marlborough intensity and focus of acidity and fruit. It's excellent."

"The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is powerfully concentrated, energetic and alive, with lashings of white spice, gooseberry, shortcrust pastry, tarragon/shaved fennel, aniseed, white chocolate and vanilla sponge. In the mouth, the acidity bolsters the fruit and makes for an explosive impact here. The wines from Clos Henri come highly recommended: founded by a tenth-generation Sancerre-based Bourgeois family, they have detailed viticulture and a respect for the terroir here in Marlborough. The fault line through the vineyard makes for an interesting topic of conversation. It all goes a long way to building a substantial story of place and style."
