Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"Les Cassagnes Blanc grapes are grown on the highest terraces of the vineyard, surrounded by green oak forest (Les Cassagnes means oak trees). Viognier is planted here, a variety not allowed in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The vineyard is up to 600 feet above sea level and features multiple microclimates with soils of sand, clay, and shards of calcareous rocks that provide natural filtration. The grapes are hand-harvested at night or early in the morning and carefully sorted after arriving at the winery. They undergo direct pressing and then the juice ferments in stainless steel vats at low temperatures. The wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel vats on fine lees before bottling.
Pale gold in colour, this ample yet crisp white wine offers delicate aromas of lemon, nectarine, pear, white peach, and white flowers. It has an elegant finish tinged with notes of orange peel."

"At once cool and creamy, even waxy, on the lively medium-bodied palate, an unusual combination for this appellation. Attractive white-flower and stone-fruit aromas. Very nice lemony freshness in the finish."
