"The John Dapetrosino line is a custom bottling that uniquely expresses the terroir and history of Sicily. Petrosino is a historic village in Sicily which has been producing wine since the 16th century. It remains quite rural, and vine-growing and wine production are still principal activities there today. In the 20th century, scores of Petrosino-born farmers emigrated to New York in search of a new life and fortune. John Dapetrosino symbolizes the typical immigrant who settled in NY (hence the statue of liberty on the label) but remained tied to his roots and homeland and dreamed of returning home.
The Syrah offers intense ripe red fruit on the nose with hints of vanilla. Soft and harmonious on the palate, it is ideal with Mediterranean cuisine and spicy foods."
We provide a door to door delivery service nationwide. Delivery charges are calculated on a 12 bottle case or part there of.
Delivery charges are calculated during the checkout process based off your address post code. Please ensure you choose the correct post code. We will advise you if you have chosen the incorrect post code.
You may also choose to 'pick up' your order from our wine shop at 188 Durham Street South, Christchurch.

Note, for orders of 1 - 2 bottles we charge an additional $6 for packaging. To ensure the safety of the bottles we use specially designed posting boxes.
