Bryterlater wines is the brainchild of James Graves Opie. This wine is deliciousness in a bottle. 100% Sauvignon Blanc from 2023, clean and pure with salty lime/grapefruit notes, extremely salivating. Fizz that will have you finishing the bottle in record speed!

Winery notes (2023 Vintage)
"2023 saw the return of one of our favourite cuvée’s. After a brief hiatus owing to low yields. Whole bunch pressed and settled overnight. Barrel ferment until desired residual sugar is achieved. Racked by gravity to bottle. The wine then sits on lees in bottle going through autolysis to build the body and direct the flavour profile. The wine is then riddled and disgorged to remove the sediment. Clear. Clean. Salty. Lemon/lime. Direct. Yogurt. Gripping acidity. Fresh. Clean. Salivating."

Bryterlater wines are crafted with intent, honesty, and deep respect for the process. Using organically farmed grapes from North Canterbury, they employ minimal intervention practices in the winery to let the wines speak for themselves. Embracing the unique character of each season, they produce vibrant spring wines and complex, age-worthy styles. Their goal is to create thoughtfully made, juicy wines that capture vineyard energy and bring immense joy to those who experience them.

And as for the wines? Petina Petillant Naturel Pinot Noir is poised and precise, barrel-fermented and bottled on lees for body and flavour. It's clear and clean with notes of raspberry cheesecake, Aperol, yogurt, and sea mist. Swell Petillant Naturel Sauvignon Blanc returns with a similar process, yielding a salty, lemon-lime, yogurt, and fresh acidity profile. Still Life Sauvignon Blanc offers tropical and citrus flavors with brioche and texture. Svelte Riesling is dry and textural with citrus and juniper notes.

Pinot blends offer white peach, strawberry, and coconut aromas. Ernest Pinot Noir features cherry, clove, and soft tannins, while Frederick Pinot Noir has dark fruits and fine tannins. Yonda Red Field Blend and Brambles Rose and Orange blends are vibrant, fresh, and complex, perfect for daily enjoyment.
