A delightful red Burgundy from a special site in Monthelie, where vineyards date back to the 9th century. The Premier Cru of Les Duresses lies on a 1.8 hectare slope that has sunny south exposure, and yet the slow ripening here makes it one of the last sites to be harvested. This combination of factors produces rich wines of very expressive brightness and depth.
