Winery notes (2019 Vintage)
"Aromas of ripe dark berries with a touch of spice. The palate is full-bodied with rich layers of intense blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and a touch of mint. An elegant wine with velvety tannins, and a toasty, vanilla finish."

"Red rims affirm the freshness of this, otherwise, purple wine. There's a hint of cassis, with dark spices and red berries more dominant. The palate is soft and fruit is allowed to sing. Juicy and bright, with acidity in check. Great value."

"Matured for 21 months in French oak hogsheads. Impenetrable pitch black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas overlay vanillin cedar, light tobacco and spice notes. Full bodied, rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruit are wrapped up in ripe chewy tannins which impart some grip to the finish. Also evident is vanillin cedar, traces of earth and spice. Chewy aftertaste of blackcurrant, vanillin cedar, tobacco and spice."
