This 130 year old winery only makes rose so all their focus and dedication in the vineyard and winery goes into this outstanding rosé. From a classic blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault.
Refreshingly pale, dry and light – this is quintessential Provence Rosé from a lovely vintage for this style. The beautiful thing is not only the delicate fruit and refreshing acidity but the weighty, balanced palate. In other words it is deceptively sophisticated wine – for anyone, that is, who is not satisfied with it being merely gorgeous to drink.
Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"AIX Rosé is a harmonious blend from Provence, crafted with meticulous attention to detail at every step of the process. Using carefully selected grapes, we follow delicate pressing with low-temperature fermentation to preserve the wine’s freshness and subtle aromas.
Aging in stainless steel tanks ensures maximum purity and freshness, allowing this exceptional rosé to showcase the unique qualities of our estate and the character of its terroir. Our blend of organic grapes is cultivated using sustainable practices, respecting the environment and preserving local biodiversity. This dedication results in an authentic Provençal rosé that remains true to its origins.
AIX Rosé is crafted from a carefully selected blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, the emblematic grape varieties of Provence. Each grape contributes to the wine’s signature balance and elegance. Grenache brings structure and generous notes of ripe red berries, while Syrah adds depth and a delicate touch of spice. Cinsault, known for its finesse, enhances the blend with freshness and subtle floral aromas.
This harmonious composition is the foundation of AIX Rosé’s vibrant character, offering a perfect balance between fruit, acidity, and minerality. The result is a refined and expressive rosé that captures the essence of Provence in every sip."
5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, May 2025 (2024 Vintage)
"Gorgeously poised and finely scented, the wine shows Gala apple, lemon pith, white flesh nectarine, and raspberry nuances on the nose. The palate delivers brilliant focus and drive, wonderfully framed by beautifully pitched acidity, finishing mouth-watering and persistent. At its best: now to 2027."
92/100 Cameron Douglas MS, June 2025 (2024 Vintage)
"Another classic and enticing expression from the AIX stable. Fresh red apple and yellow plum scents laced with a granitic minerality and peach. It’s also floral and delicate. Crisp and dry, salivating and tense, flavours mirror the bouquet with peach and plum then citrus and floral contrasts. Balanced and well made, dry on the finish with fine tannins for added texture. Best drinking from day of purchase through end of summer 2027."
